This object was created together with Casper ten Brug and Brian de Lange and resembles a coin pusher that does not allow participants to win. It is engraved with a medieval-style relief that tells the story of digital nobility.

Feudal Machine illustrates the insatiable hunger of this system and the unequal distribution of power and wealth.

Feudal Machine draws inspiration from the concept of Technofeudalism. It illustrates how modern tech companies resemble a feudal system, bearing similarities to the medieval class structure. These entities, akin to the new nobility, amass data and financial resources while operating with a perceived immunity from legal and ethical constraints.
